Jane Austen & Peppermint Tea

I'm big enough to admit that I haven't moved much from this spot all day.

This thunder can roll all that it wants. I'll just be right here.

Friday Favorite | Soft Bras

This Friday, my new favorite thing has to be something I never thought I would love.
I've always loved fully supported bras. I've never been a fan of the ones with a lot of stuffing or padding, though. I typically like to keep my friends as close to me as I can.
I bought a soft bra one day while feeling pretty spontaneous. I didn't even know if I would like it. I just tried it on and it felt comfortable. It also looked pretty dang cute.

I wore it every once in a while. I even bought another in a different color and loved that one even more. Still didn't wear them often enough for me to come close to my other bras.
A few weeks ago I was involved in a pretty bad car accident. I was broadsided and was tipped over in my car. I was thrashed around while wearing a seatbelt. I wasn't injured but man was I sore.
The one place that hurt the most was my sternum from the seatbelt, right in between my friends. I couldn't wear my regular bras because the underwire would kill me. So I was forced to wear nothing but sport and soft bras.

Now, I don't know if I can stop wearing them.

I like being a little more flat. So these bras do that while still looking delicate and feminine. I probably wouldn't suggest these if you are little more "endowed". They offer hardly any support which is what makes them comfortable. However, I am a 32B so I don't have much to support, as you can see.

I definitely wear them with more loose t shirts. They make me feel like one of those cool bohemian girls that can get away with wearing no bra! But dang, do they look cute.

1, 2, 3, 4

So ladies, give your girlfriends a rest and get one of these. Trust me.

Life dump; ready to change.

My life took quite a turn.
Not really sure why it did, but I've never been more grateful.

I took a trip a few hours north and ever since then, I realized how much I was missing in my life.
I let go of a few things that I needed to. I was ready to set on a completely new future I never saw for myself. It's never been more worth it.

Hurray for change and embracing it as it comes!

It's been a hard few months to say the least. I've never been more tired, more emotionally exhausted, and more unhealthy in my life. I've been working two jobs, each at about 25 hours a week. I basically would wake up, go to work, come home, go to sleep, wake up, go to work, and so on. My life became very mundane. It paid off though. Now I will only work full-time at one. I finally have time to do this again.

Making lots of changes in my life to hopefully better that.

I don't love when people overshare on social media, in fact it's probably one of my biggest annoyances, but I might be giving some emotional dumps on here because this is my passion, my life, and I hope to keep on keeping on.

I've been buying lots of clothes and I'm happy to say, I plan on posting more outfit posts. They're definitely my favorite to share. I've been cooking and baking more. I've also been trying out some natural skin routines. Let's see how they work out.

In the meantime, I will be sleeping peacefully because, as I said, I am very sleep deprived.

Time Killer

I've picked up a weird new hobby too occupy my time. Don't really know where it came from, but now I can't stop.
Embroidery

I found an image on Pinterest that caught my attention and for some reason thought to myself, "I have to embroider that."
So I did!

- I pulled up the picture on my computer and did my best to sketch it out from what I could see.
- After I had it down to what I wanted, I traced it in dark ink. Then I laid my white fabric over top of my sketch and traced it the best that I could.
- Then I sat down on my carpet, turned on some Parks and Rec, and stitched my little heart out.

After I had done all of it, it just didn't feel complete. So I added a little extra

Then it felt complete

This was my very first embroidery project. I'm not going to lie, I am really proud of it. It takes a lot of effort for me to finish a project. Let alone finish it well.

I think I'll stick to this hobby for a while.

Leg Breathing Time

It's been incredibly warm. I'm much more a fan of cold weather. But it was kind of nice to stretch my legs out. They're super white and I don't even care.
So here's to the first day of me admitting that my favorite time of year is over.
I've been very self conscious about my legs almost my whole life. Lately, I've been running my guts out. I think I'm finally a little comfortable enough to not want to squirm anytime I have more than half of my calf showing. So props to me.

However, no matter the weather, I will always wear flannel. I will wear it in the dead of July and sweat it out.

Flannel Forever.

Also, my dog decided he wanted to help me. She's super clingy. I love it to pieces.

Let your legs breathe! It's time!
(but let's get real, I'll probably be in tights again tomorrow)

Ezra's day out

My sister-in-law is sick. She asked if I could take my nephew for the day because she's not feeling good. She apologized over and over again for inconveniencing me. I was not inconvenienced at all.

Fabric stores, Chick-Fil-A, Toys R' Us, and parks.
I'm so obsessed with being an aunt. I could get used to it.
