i like to fancy myself a bargain shopper.
i get it from my parents.
we like to dig through bargain bins, shop the clearance rack and coupon the crap out of grocery stores.
we especially love flea markets and swap meets.
so this weekend we went to the swap meet on redwood road (i tried to get a link but i couldn't find a website)
warning: this swap meet is definitely in a hood part of town, is a little shady, and you may feel like the only white person there, but i did manage to find some stuff.
a large sunhat that i bought for my week at the beach this coming month
$3
i have very sensitive eyes so when we got up to west valley and i realized i didn't have my sunglasses, i knew i was in trouble.
i had to buy some, any really.
there were a lot of sunglasses stands but i honestly just wanted some huge ones that make me look like i'm trying to hide from the paparazzi.
i bought these at a stand where two adorable younger boys were selling them while their parents made change,
every pair i put on they said "oh wow you look so pretty in those" or "now those look good on you"

$3

then i stumbled upon a booth with lots of nail polish,
next to the nail polish i saw some MAC eyeshadow.
i asked the girl at the stand three times,
"is this real mac????"
she said two times "yes" the third time she gave me a glare and said "yes it is, you buying or no?"
so i bought one of these babies for you guessed it

$3

sunhat, large sunglasses and MAC eyeshadow all for a grand total of $9.
booyah.
